This unique creation of Jaguar engineers guarantees exciting performance, driving comfort, and transparent beauty of design. Built on the innovative DEW platform, it incorporates technical advancements known from the Lincoln LS. The visionary "R" version debuted in 2002, and the power behind it, the 4.2 l V8 supercharged engine, is a magnificent counterpart to the unit used in the Jaguar XJR. Four hundred horsepower with a rear-wheel-drive setup elevates the driving experience to unimaginable heights. The "R" in Jaguar nomenclature signifies the highest level of sports performance, equivalent to the legendary AMG versions from Mercedes and M-power from BMW. The S-Type R was a direct competitor to the BMW M5 and Mercedes E55 AMG, standing up to them in every category. Although it did not fall short in performance, its classic yet controversial appearance caused customers to select this model far less often than their German counterparts.

Over the years, the S-Type R has begun to gain the recognition it deserves, both among true brand enthusiasts and in the classic car market. Particularly noted is the R version, which not only reigns with its appearance but also offers fantastic performance. The supercharged, eight cylinders arranged in a V shape has a capacity of 4.2 l and a mighty power of 400 HP, ensuring unforgettable experiences behind the wheel. The previous owner imported this car nearly 15 years ago from the USA, where it was purchased at an authorized Bentley-Jaguar-Land Rover dealership, just after the car was only two years old with just 25,000 miles on the clock. It was in a like-new condition, fully accident-free, with original paint in excellent condition.

Currently, the car has 86,000 km on the clock, as confirmed by the service book and Carfax report. For most of its time spent in Poland, the car was garaged in a climate-controlled space, and its presentation was the absolute pride of one of the Jaguar dealers in Southern Poland, where it was driven exclusively on short, exciting trips with its owner.

The condition of this Jaguar is virtually flawless, almost in the state it left the showroom. The original factory paint is intact on all body parts. Additionally, the bonnet, front bumper, and lights are equipped with a clear PPF protective film that safeguards the paint from scratches and impacts from small stones. The interior appears like new; the light leather, maintained in excellent condition, enhances the elegance of the cabin. Every element of upholstery, plastics, and switches is showroom condition. The car underwent a full technical service, and new tyres were fitted in 2022, replacing the original factory tyres from 2007. The vehicle is richly equipped with all available options.

Enriched with aesthetic and technical attributes appreciated by PZM appraisers and the Polish heritage conservator, the Jaguar has been entered into the register of classic cars with high collectible value. This means that the car has received respected yellow number plates, which officially confirm its collectible character.
