VOLKSWAGEN GARBUS OVAL 1956. Completely restored car from A to Z. Everything on original VW parts and according to VIN. The reconstruction process took several years – full photographic documentation. Original documents, books, etc. Though the Beetle was developed in the 1930s, mass production started after 1945. The Oval got its name due to the shape of the rear window and was available in the years 1953-1957. From 1954, an engine type 122 was installed with a cylinder bore of 77 mm, increasing its displacement to 1192 cm³ instead of the previous 1131 cm³. The enlarged engine now delivered 22 kW (30 HP), which is 4 kW (5 HP) more than the old engine. This beautifully restored specimen does not yet have a right mirror, which was a feature of cars produced before November 1956. Original beautiful paint called polar silver.

The specimen is in excellent condition, as if it just rolled out of the factory yesterday. It is not only a great car for collecting awards at classic car shows but also a capital investment.
