VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE OVAL 1956. The car has been completely restored from A to Z. Everything is on original VW parts and according to the VIN. The restoration process took several years – full photographic documentation is available. Original documents, books, etc. Although the Beetle was developed in the 1930s, mass production began after 1945. The Oval got its name due to the shape of the rear window and was available from 1953 to 1957. From 1954, a 122 engine was installed with a cylinder bore of 77 mm, increasing its displacement to 1192 cm³, up from the previous 1131 cm³. The enlarged engine now produced 22 kW (30 HP), which is 4 kW (5 HP) more than the old engine. This beautifully restored example does not yet have a right mirror, which was a feature of cars produced before November 1956. Original beautiful paint in polar silver.
