The classic Spider is not just a car; it is a symbol of independence and emotion. Since the moment it left the factory, it has inspired automotive enthusiasts all over the world. This car was designed by the legend of Italian design, Battista Pininfarina, as his final artistic work. The Spider gained iconic status thanks to its unforgettable role in the 1967 film "The Graduate," where none other than the brilliant Dustin Hoffman took the wheel. In a time when Americans preferred massive sedans, the Spider proved that a compact car could be both dazzling and devilishly fast, especially with a two-liter monster under the hood.

The twin-cam engine with a dual horizontal carburetor system offered acceleration to 100 km/h in an impressive 10 seconds. From the very beginning of its production, it was known for its innovative 5-speed gearbox and disc brakes on all wheels, making it the true essence of a classic sports car at its best. The year 1970 marked a new era for the Spider, highlighted by the introduction of the second production series known as the "kamm tail" or "Coda tronca" – with a proudly truncated tail that not only gave it a modern look but also increased luggage capacity and improved stability at high speeds.

Changes to the suspension, along with the use of larger wheels and wider tires, resulted in the Spider offering incredible precision in cornering. The presented example, equipped with the most powerful 2-liter engine, is in excellent technical condition and maintained in very good interior condition. Furthermore, the Alfa is registered with historic yellow plates, adding to its collectible value.
